My Guru, my cricket coach of Sports College Lucknow, one of the best in India, Arun Bhardwaj sir, happy birthday! You are young by heart and in enthusiasm.
He always had stringent criteria for us, and I used to think to myself, why is he so strict?
My 14-year-old self-thought that he was so strict because of his different English vocabulary which not only then, but goes like a bouncer over my head even now.
But now I realize that he did what was best for us and our lives. It is right that every child can't be a professional Indian player or play nationally, but one thing is sure that we, ex-players from Sports College are good human beings, and all the credit goes to him.
Sir, please accept what I'm trying to say through my English, I know you understand my feelings.
